Whether it is visiting a school to deliver a digital sculpting workshop or presenting on stage at the UK's biggest 3D events we always inspire and educate when we are asked to attend. And it's not just the students we are inspiring!
Educational Visits
All of our staff are STEM Ambassadors and we have been doing schools visits in the UK for over a decade providing 3D workshops, talks about design technology and more recently showing VR design innovations. Wacom have always supported us by providing equipment, support and also by funding events.
On site visits
We often visit schools and colleges with Wacom to talk about what products are new in the market place and where they might fit into their operation. We sometimes bring the technology with us to allow users some hands-on time and gives time to ask the correct questions with no sale obligation.
Using Wacom's Mobile Studio Pro to create real life drawings
We visit Priestley College and see Wacoms Mobile Studio Pro being used to create real life drawings. We interview the Program Leader for Computer Games Design, Matt Wilson, who came up with this incredible idea.
Wacom Workshops help all over Europe
As part of our educational experiences, we deliver workshops on a wide range of topics. in 2018 we delivered 4 days of Workshops at the Lakers international Comic Event. We focused on how to make comic art with Pixologic's ZBrush using Wacom Mobile Studio Pro line. Whilst it was very much a comic artists event it allowed us to show how the industry has evolved over time and how graphic tablet technology is now crucial in that sector.
