ScreenScene Release VFX Breakdown for ‘The Frankenstein Chronicles’
This is one of those jobs that the team has always dreamed of being part of. ScreenScene over in Dublin were working on lots of VFX shots for ITV’s Frankenstein Chronicles and we were lucky enough to get to work on some of the ‘nasty-looking’ head models. Although these models and sculpts look like zombies, they are actually the heads of patients with syphilis. Sean Bean does not look his best in this show!

The show was seen as a huge success and in April 2016, Screen Scene won an IFTA for their work!
The head scans were all done by Dave Head. He was using Agisoft with a standard Canon 5D DSLR. We were so impressed with the level of quality that we went out and bought the software for our studio that day.
